On November 13, the Embassy of Canada and the Argentine-Canadian Chamber of Commerce welcomed a delegation from the Government of Alberta, composed of representatives from 11 companies and led by Director Trade Americas, Mr. Benigno Rojas Moreno, and Senior Officer Trade, Ms. Antonina Castañeda.
Our partners, María José Machaín and Bernardo Bertelloni, delivered a presentation on Argentina’s political, economic, and legal landscape, as well as the key reforms and opportunities currently shaping the country’s investment climate.
They explained how Argentina is undergoing a period of profound change, with the Ley de Bases and the Régimen de Incentivo para Grandes Inversiones (RIGI) setting the course for a policy agenda centered on energy, mining, and technology.
With a renewed framework and a clear commitment to attracting investment, Argentina is positioning itself as a land of significant opportunities for global companies, while strengthening the longstanding ties and robust economic cooperation it maintains with Canada.
